What it gives a manager
- Cron jobs: for example, every weekday at 9am a digest of open PRs and reviews waiting for a reply, with no manual run
- Cost control: setting AI Credit Overages to Never stops credit top-ups once the quota is used up
- For a company, via Gemini Enterprise: the admin enables third-party models, and request logs go to a Google Cloud project
- Data can stay in the US or EU region behind a VPC Service Controls perimeter, an argument for the security team
Weak points
- On personal plans, wrapping agy inside other agents (Claude Code, OpenCode) is forbidden and can get the account suspended.
- Quota is split into two pools (Gemini vs Claude/GPT-OSS) with weekly and 5-hour caps; a multi-file agent task drains it faster.
- Google says availability and limits depend on the account and may change; its predecessor Gemini CLI was shut down on 2026-06-18.
- Gemini 4 Argon and Claude 5.5 are only on paid Pro and Ultra; the free plan and Plus get Gemini 3.8 Flash.
How to check this agent’s work
- Compare the task plan with the result: Antigravity keeps the plan and steps as artifacts.
- On a company account, check which model did the work: an admin switches third-party models on.
- Do not run agy inside other agents on a personal plan: under Google's rules this can get the account suspended.
Picking an agent takes an evening. After that the question is not the price but whether you can trust what it did.
You’re on the list
We will write when enrolment opens. Meanwhile, here is what the course covers.
The short course programmeWhat the course covers: programme and price
Strengths
- One terminal agent with Gemini 4 Argon and 3.8 Flash, Claude Opus and Sonnet 5.5 and GPT-OSS inside; /model switches between them.
- A free tier with limits: Roaming Rebel's fresh account showed 100% quota without buying credits, tracked with /usage.
- Parallel subagents: one writes backend tests while another scaffolds a frontend component, monitored from the terminal via /agents.
- Project rules in GEMINI.md, MCP servers, hooks and skills; extensions for VS Code, JetBrains, Visual Studio, Zed and Xcode.
Alternatives
Who it is for
- Engineer in a Google Workspace environment outside Russia
- Company on Google Cloud with Gemini Enterprise that needs audit logs and a data region
Example from a review: Windows install and a first task
Roaming Rebel installed Antigravity CLI from PowerShell, signed in with a Google account, pasted the issued key, picked a model with medium effort and asked for a Python file computing a factorial. The agent produced the file and asked permission before writing it to the folder. The /usage screen showed two model groups with shared weekly and 5-hour allowances and 100% remaining. This was an install walkthrough, not a test of code quality.

Reviews (2)
The video authors’ opinions, not our conclusions.
- Google's FREE AI Coding Agent Has Gemini, Claude & GPT-OSS! · Roaming Rebel, 6 September 2026The reviewer thinks it is worth trying for terminal-first developers: several model families without buying credits, though limits may change.
- Claude Code vs Antigravity CLI · Gary Judge, 13 August 2026The reviewer keeps both: he would pick Claude Code to build his own tools and falls back to Antigravity once his Claude 5-hour quota runs out in about an hour.
