Brief the AI, give it the data, check what comes back, fix it. That is how the course teaches you to work with AI – in emails, in numbers and in plans.

Project ManagementYou asked AI for an email and got “honestly”, “it’s important to note” and “it’s not just…, it’s…”. You rewrote it yourself.
You sent a report and only then noticed the last line: “Would you like a softer version?”
A colleague read your text and asked, “Did a chatbot write this?” Nobody had reread it before it went out – and it showed.A colleague read your text and asked, “Did ChatGPT write this?” Nobody had reread it before it went out – and it showed. You pasted a spreadsheet of customer data into ChatGPT – and only afterwards remembered GDPR.A colleague read your text and asked, “Did ChatGPT write this?” Nobody had reread it before it went out – and it showed.
That is what the course is about: briefing AI so the answer is actually useful, and getting it to a text you’re happy to sign.
In the assignments you write your own emails and reports with AI, and three reviewers mark what to fix. Think it through yourself first, then compare with the hint.

Certainly! Here’s a short status report for your manager:1

The first and last lines are the AI talking to you. “It’s important to note” and “not just…, it’s…” are its favourite phrases, and the asterisks and the dash came over from the chat.

Absolutely! Here’s a warm version of the email:1
AlexeiNurlanMartinDaniel, thank you for your incredible contribution and outstanding worktaking on the warehouse move yourself and finishing it a week early2 this quarter — you’re not just an employee, you’re a true pillar of the team. Without you, that move would have dragged on until spring1.
Next quarter there are some areas for growthI’d like you to hand more tasks to the new people3 – let’s talk about it at our meeting.
The first line, the long dash and “not just an employee, a true pillar” show the email went straight out of the chat. Your colleague will notice, and the thanks will lose its weight.
How would you fix it? Think first, then open the hint.
How to fix it: Remove the AI’s line and the stock phrase.
Thanks for what, exactly? One concrete result sounds more honest than any adjective.

The greeting still has the placeholder, “honestly” and “not just…, it’s…” read like an ad, and the last line is the AI talking to you. The client will see all of it first.
How would you fix it? Think first, then open the hint.

The change list has 7 points, and the version closes 5. Better to say so plainly.

How to fix it: Say how much is done and when the rest will be.
“As agreed” – when is that? Without a date, the client will read it their own way.

If the text says “on track”, the reviewer counts what is done and how much time is left.
They see at first glance what you expect from them, what it costs and by when.
No AI asides, no asterisks, no stock phrases – it sounds like you.
What stayed with me most was the practical assignment with the analytical memo. I failed it the first time because I built the prompt wrong. After going through the mistakes I tried again – and it worked.

I expected the course to sell me on AI in every shape and form. In reality, half of it is about the mistakes AI makes – and the mistakes people make reading its results.
